Proheart is given once a month, year round for the prevention of heartworm disease. The usual dose of Proheart in dogs up to 10kg is 30 mcg – 1 tablet from blue pack, for dogs 11 to 22 kg is 68 mcg – 1 tablet from green pack, for dogs 23 to 45kg is 136 mcg – 1 tablet from red pack, and for dogs 46 to 68kg is 204 mcg – 1 tablet from yellow pack.
