Meg
is a middle aged lady who appears to have had many puppies. We believe she is
probably a Lab Cattle Dog X. Meg was saved because the vet staff
couldn’t bear to say goodbye
to
her and Pet Warriors came to her rescue. Everyone that meets Meg loves her. She
is placid, relaxed with no vices to speak of. Because she has had a hard life
she now is enjoying
life
with her foster carer who walks her on the beach which she enjoys immensely. If
you are looking for a mature companion that will not demand much of you then
please think of giving
Meg
the forever home she deserves. We are sure that there is that special someone
out there just waiting for you Meg.
Hervey
Bay Pet World is where you will find this sleek young gentlemen, TJ. He is
a 4 month old male kitten with a heart of gold. Relaxed, playful &
affectionate, he gets along well with
other
cats & kittens & is litter trained. He will make a loyal & loving
companion for a lucky family. TJ is a Hervey Bay Pound rescue kitten. Will you
provide his forever home?
Marco
is full of energy, playful and a stay at home cat. He is not frightened of dogs
and stands his ground if they get too close for comfort. He smooches, purrs,
cuddles and loves wrapping
his
tail-less body around your legs. He would love a family environment where he has
someone to play with. Marco must be part Manx with Seal Point markings and is a
very handsome young
lad.
Left at the pound Marco is waiting to add that purrfect furry touch to your
family. We think he must be about 1-2yrs old as he is so energetic.

Boo
Say
a gentle Hello to little Boo. Boo is a wild born kitten that’s first known
home was a drain. Hungry & terrified Boo’s first reaction upon being
‘rescued’ or ‘captured’ in her eyes,
was
to hiss & cower in fear of these strange large creatures on two legs! Within
days Boo realised that these strange creatures brought comfort in the way of a
safe warm bed, plenty
of
food & a kind touch & is beginning to enjoy being held & cuddled. We
are hopeful that within a few weeks Boo will have adjusted to domesticated life
& be able to live a contented
life
with the family who chooses to make her their forever fur baby!

Pepe
Pepe
is around 5 or 6 years old and has been previously neglected. When rescued
from the Pound Pepe had sores on both ears and a mouth full of rotten teeth.
Believed to be a Tibetan
Spaniel
cross he weighs in at only 5.6kg. Pepe is a friendly dog and has shown no
desire to bark unnecessarily. He enjoys the company of human and
canines in equal measure, walks well
on
a lead & also enjoys off leash runs on the beach. He is a real sweet
heart and much, much happier now that his rotten teeth have been removed.
He will forever have a gummy smile but
this
makes him ever so much more lovable. Pepe would love to come and live with
you.
You
might remember Phoenix as the young mother, still a kitten herself, of the four
kittens that were recently rescued after being abandoned in the Maryborough
Cemetery! The words
‘Egyptian
Goddess’ come to mind when looking at her stunning, regal appearance. Her
personality is very fitting of a Goddess too, full of affection, loyal &
relaxed. She is tolerant of cat
friendly
dogs & will easily blend in with any existing cats. She is gentle, quiet,
well behaved & litter trained. Surely we can find someone to treat Phoenix
like the Goddess she is for as
long
as she shall live? Adoption Fee: $150 – Desexed, Microchipped &
Vaccinated.
This
beautiful boy, is Murphy. Fraser Coast Pet Warriors very own ‘Gentle Giant’.
Believed to be a Shepherd cross Mastiff around 18 months of age, he is a large
boy, with a heart just as big!
He
gets along well with other dogs, playing very gently, even with his tiny mate,
Cha Cha the Chihuahua who he adores! A real smoocher, he will try his best to
sneak (impossibly) onto your
lap
for a big bear hug. He is well behaved, though due to his size, training should
be an ongoing activity. He is quiet boy, rarely making a sound & is
housetrained too! He doesn’t need a huge yard,
a
daily walk will suffice. Big Dog Lover? Then Murphy is definitely your Man!
Adoption fee: $250 Desexed, Microchipped & Vaccinated.
Sweet
little ‘Baby’ is a 3 year young Pug cross Foxy gentlemen. Baby was rescued
from a Puppy Farm & as a result has a fearful nature & needs loves
of extra love, attention & patience to
instill
his trust in humankind again. He is a quiet, placid natured boy &
gets along well with other dogs though is not playful. Baby needs a calm,
nurturing family to teach him how enjoyable
life
can be! Adoption fee: $250 Desexed, Microchipped & Vaccinated
Abandoned
in a recently vacated house, there wasn’t much hope for these sweet souls this
Christmas. Mother cat, Dancer & her stunning little son, Cupid. Thankfully
a
kind hearted person brought them into Pet Warriors care in hope they wouldn’t
become just another euthanasia statistic of the holiday season. If you feel like
giving
this
Christmas, why not give your heart & home to these fur babies in need. They
are in urgent need of a foster carer so please share & bring hope to Cupid
& Dancer
for
the New Year. Dancer is a super friendly & affectionate cat, she has been
very cuddly in an otherwise quite stressful, new environment with strange
people, rubbing
against
everyone’s legs & purring loudly, perhaps she is saying ‘Thank you’ for the
cosy bed & some good tucker for her & her baby. She doesn’t seem very
keen on
dogs
or other cats at this stage but she does have a bubba to protect. She is very
thin & will need some TLC to bring her body back into top
form.
